Google has it A new AI Ultra scheme announced It was priced at $100 per month during the Google I/O 2026 opening speech. This new plan aims to compete with ChatGPT Pro and Cloud Max. The company has also reduced the price of its existing top-tier Ultra plan from $250 to $200 per month. Additionally, YouTube Premium Lite is included with the $20 AI Pro subscription at no additional cost.
The introduction of the new $100 tier has led to some overlap in naming, as Google now offers two plans called Ultra at different price points.
What’s included in the new $100 Google AI Ultra plan and how it changes to $200
The AI Ultra plan offers up to five times the usage limit of the Pro plan. This also includes
- 20 terabytes of Google storage, which is four times more than the included storage in AI Pro.
- Subscribers receive YouTube Premium individual membership
- $40 in monthly Google Cloud credits. Additionally, users get 10,000 Flow credits for use in Google’s AI-powered creative tools.
- Access to Gemini Spark will be available later this year when it launches.
Google is retaining its previous top-tier Ultra plan but has dropped the monthly price from $250 to $200. This plan offers 20x the usage limit of AI Pro, which is double the multiplier for the new $100 tier.
The price adjustment is in line with Google’s strategy to compete with similar offerings at comparable price points. ChatGPT Pro costs $100 per month, while Cloud Max costs $200 per month, both offering high volume usage options for power users and developers.
AI Pro now bundles YouTube Premium Lite
Google’s $20 per month AI Pro plan now includes YouTube Premium Lite at no additional cost. Normally, YouTube Premium Lite costs $8.99 per month and offers a mostly ad-free YouTube experience, except for music videos and shorts. Users who don’t use YouTube Music may find additional value in the bundle.
This change follows the recent upgrade to the AI Pro tier, which now includes increasing storage from 2TB to 5TB.
The new pricing and plan details are effective immediately. Google hasn’t announced any specific launch date for the Gemini Spark, other than to mention that it will arrive later this year.
